I'm not going to lie, I was a bit scared going into this one. I love all things by Chelle Bliss but I haven't read many books with bondage, chains, whips, you name it it's used. I went in with on open mind & wow was I pleasantly surprised!

I love Ret & Alese. Their personalities are polar opposites and the combo works well in a dom/sub relationship. Ret is intense & HUGE alpha male. When I say huge I mean in ALL aspects! Alese has heard horror stories of Ret & is intrigued but nervous. She does the one thing her head is telling her not to do.

This book was intense, hot, extremely hot, and engulfing. It's not only the steamiest book I've ever read but the story is great too! It's a novella so it left me wanting more of Ret & Alese. I hope to get more from them in the future.

I can almost smell her arousal from across the booth, and my mouth waters from the scent. “Lucky bastard,” I whisper so quietly that only I can hear over the music in the background.

After fleeing from a deadly situation, Steel is left with no other choice than to protect his old lady, Flame, and he will whatever the price.

KE Osborn has a talent for making likeable characters. And Petunia, well teaming a teacup pig with a bunch of gruff bikers is genus. This story was fast paced and had a lot of substance to it. I enjoyed this one a lot. It flowed on well from book 1, Heart of steel. I am glad Flame and Steel got the HEA. Book 3 sounds really interesting, and I look forward to reading that too.

Taking a deep breath, I close the bathroom door and turn placing my hands on the basin and just breathe. Amelia’s words ring through my mind.
‘I don’t want you to sacrifice your life for him.’
I don’t want to die, and I’ve already come close to it with Chops. But if I left Steel, would I be in even more danger without him and his protection? I feel like either way now I’m doomed. I need to make a choice to either stick this out with Steel or leave him and trust that I’ll be safe on my own.
Shaking my head my heart leaps into my chest. The thought of leaving him has me all choked up. Yes, since I’ve met him I’ve been abused, attacked, made to leave my home, my job, my parents, and been on the run for two weeks with no shower, hardly any decent food and sleeping in a car. But I’ve done it all with Steel by my side, and even though it’s been tough—I love him. I was coasting before I met Steel, just living life the way my parents thought I should. It was boring, mundane, it was one continuous blah. And thinking to what Amelia said about living with Mad Dog rings true to me—Steel makes me feel alive! There’s a buzz in the air, an electrical pulse when he’s near. It’s crazy, it’s dangerous, it’s scary and it will probably end up with me dead, but sometimes you have to take a chance, and to me, Steel is worth fighting for.
I slap my hands back down on the sink and nod my head making my final decision.
“I’m his, no matter what,” I say to my reflection in the mirror and smile at my dishevelled reflection as the bright yellow of the walls only builds the happiness of my mood. If anything, all Amelia’s talk has done is ignite the flame in my heart for Steel even more than before.

4 Short Sweet Stars

I was given this novella for an honest review from Through the Booking Glass.

I really enjoyed this book! It's short & sweet with a lot of hotness! I had to laugh when I read the premise of the book because we all know when we say "just one time" for anything, that's NOT going to happen! However, I loved how AD Justice wrote this one! There were twists & turns thrown in! The sexiness of these two are super hot!! 

I wished it was longer to really get to know Mali & Jagger but I'll take what I can get! LOL I would love to read more of these two well developed characters! I feel like there's still so much more to these two! 

Good job & I can't wait for more!
