Kimber is a strong minded, independent woman used to looking after herself. Ever since her dad passed away she’s been trying to work towards a better future. She goes to college and also works at a garage. Being a mechanic and fixing Harley's is her passion and men are the last thing on her mind.
Throttle is a biker who is content living everything that is the biker lifestyle and all that comes with it. He has traditional views, so when coming across a feisty female mechanic who’s fixing his prize bike, he’s not happy about it. It’s not long before she is never far from his mind.
I loved Kimber. She is a kiss arse lead. Sassy, independent and strong. It was refreshing. All I can say about Throttle is that he is HOT! Their chemistry is undeniable.
I have to say that I love biker books, but now there are so many on the market I find some can be similar. This story though, was refreshing. It had everything that a biker book needs, but what I really liked about this one was there was almost a separate story that runs alongside it, but it all came together in the end. That separate story brought plenty of suspense, making this story intriguing, clever and well thought out. I really enjoyed it and will be reading more by this author in the future.

Chiah Wilder is the author of Hawk’s Property, the first book in the Insurgents MC Series. It is a full length, standalone novel. Its release date is set for October 27, 2015.
Always a lover of books, she began writing at a young age and continued through college with collections of short stories. Figuring she had to grow up and get a “real” job, her writing was placed on the back burner.
Her love of reading has always be center front in her life. Chiah’s love of bad boys both in and out of fiction has inspired her Insurgents series. She loves an alpha male whose softer side is brought out by a passionate, spirited woman. In fiction there are no rules or boundaries, and fantasies can go as far as the characters want to take them. Steamy, biker romances with rough, sexy bad boys are her guilty pleasure along with brownies, cheddar cheese, and movie marathons.
Returning to writing has been a dream come true. Writing and publishing Hawk’s Property has been an amazing journey, and she is happy to share the Insurgents family with her readers. She is busy writing her next book in the series.
