Synopsis
He doesn’t ask their names.
He doesn’t deserve to know them.
Ransom Riley Hale’s friends think his life is charmed: first string as a freshman on a championship-winning college football team. A father with two Super Bowl rings. A mother with platinum albums and multiple Grammies under her belt. But that brilliant shine on the surface hides the darkness beneath; it’s all Ransom has ever known.
Blog Tour Packet - Thick Love by Eden Butler (Aug 30th - Sept 5th) Despite the shadows he walked in, once there was a blinding light fracturing the darkness. It brought the promise of hope and happiness. He’d been careless, filled with pride and stupidity and lost that light. Ripped it from the world.
Now, the shadows are dimming again. Aly King surges into his life threatening to pull him from the darkness. She is everything Ransom can never be again. Her light feels too warm, promises him that there is more waiting for him beyond the shadows.
But the shadows are relentless, resurfacing when he thinks he is safe, and Ransom knows he must keep Aly from them too before he pulls her down into the darkness with him.

5 Amazingly Imperfect Stars

WOW! This book was different than Thin Love but in a very good way! Mrs. Butler took the story by the horns & spun it in a way that is truly brilliant!

OMG Ransom!! Gahhh! This dude is hot but he's the son of Kona! Ransom holds a lot of guilt from his past & don't let many people in! Until Aly! I just adore her! She's smart, driven & is not ashamed to admit that she has issues too! I love these two because clearly in the story, they are NOT perfect!

Their love isn't perfect, the end isn't perfect, but the story....the story is perfect!! There is a continuation to Ransom & Aly's story! They both have some serious soul searching to do! I can't wait to find out where their paths are taking them!

Top 5 List of Eden's "Guilty Pleasures"

1. Blue Bell Rocky Road ice cream. Sadly, all BB products have been recalled for ages now. Texas and Alabama are about to get it back, but I live in Louisiana where everything is delicious and fun, but we STILL don't have our Blue Bell back.

2. Obsessing over shippy couples. Whenever I watch a movie or see a show with a couple who I really want to see end up together (Hello, Jamie and Claire from Outlander), then I hop onto YouTube and watch shippy fanmade videos. I don't know why I do this, but I do. It's immature and silly but I can't seem to stop myself.

3. Watching Buffy, Doctor Who and Firefly over and over again. No matter how many times I've watched these shows, I can always waste an entire weekend binge watching them again. Actually, hell, that's not a guilty pleasure. I'm a proud Geek.

4. Rugby. I have no idea what's going on in the match, but I watch because YAY!Men!Beating! Each!Other!Up! I wrote an entire series about rugby because of this.

5. Forensic Files. I defy anyone to watch only ONE episode. It's impossible.

*I would name books, but I have zero guilt about anything I read. :) *

Thick Love – Excerpt

“Dance with me,” I said. He only stared up at me blankly.
“I don’t feel like practicing.”
“I’m not asking you to practice. I’m asking you to dance.”
Blog Tour Packet - Thick Love by Eden Butler (Aug 30th - Sept 5th)
Ransom’s body stiffened when I picked up his hand, but he didn’t fight me. “Just be here with me. Me and you and the music.”
We came together in the center of my living room with that slow, soothing music wrapping around us. There was no Kizomba, no prequel to a seduction we both wanted to avoid. There was just Ransom bending low, arms around me, hand taking mine to hold against his chest. After a few seconds, the tension lessened, and his body did not feel as rigid. It felt peaceful, and safe, and simple—just two people, holding each other, swaying to the music.
His mouth hovered near my forehead and as we moved together with no form or practiced steps, Ransom’s grip on my waist got tighter. “I wish I could breathe again. I want that so bad.” The words were whispered, low.
I closed my eyes, reminding myself that I couldn’t touch him.
“Ransom. You can.”
He looked down at me and right then I saw just how lost he was. This realization didn’t come from flippant comments he made to me or desperate excuses I overheard him make. It was all there right in his eyes—the loneliness, the pain, as though each mistake he’d made was etched into the rise of his cheekbones and the worried, faint lines on his forehead. He was still drifting; he had been drifting for so damn long.
The pain in his eyes drew me in. There was nothing I could say that would make his hurt lessen. There was nothing that would take him from the lingering sorrow he’d created for himself. So I didn’t speak, didn’t give him advice I knew he’d never take. I just watched Ransom’s eyes, and felt the slow way he moved. And then with my hand on the back of his neck, I pulled his face towards me, I took his lips, kissing him, pouring into that kiss everything I’d held back from him since we first met.
This is who I am. This is what I want. That voice came from someplace hidden and secret inside me.
It was minutes, minutes of nothing but my mouth on his, nothing but two people finding solace in each other, before
Blog Tour Packet - Thick Love by Eden Butler (Aug 30th - Sept 5th) I realized I’d messed up.
He didn’t seem to want me to pull away, but didn’t stop me when I did. Shaking my head, I smoothed the collar on his shirt, unable to look at him. “I’m...modi, Ransom, I’m sorry.”
Ransom pulled my chin up and smoothed his thumb over my cheek, down the slope of my chin before he returned his attention to my eyes. “I don’t think I am.”
It was a moment I thought I’d always wanted. Him looking at me like I was real, like he saw me, finally saw me. I’d seen that look once before, just as Ransom whispered my name and kissed me over and over the first time. It wasn’t the look of someone hopeless. It was open and raw and I realized right then that I’d give anything for Ransom to never stop looking at me.
But this was against our rules. This wasn’t how we were supposed to be. I took his hand, thought of pulling it away from my face but didn’t have the strength, liked how it felt on my face too much. “Friends don’t kiss, Ransom.”
A small nod, and his eyes narrowed. His grip around me tightened. The music around us swelled. “No, they don’t,” he said, still touching my face, inching closer and I knew, right then, he was definitely not my friend.

Wow!!!!! Heart of Marley is one of those books that you will NEVER forget! I was & still am totally wrecked from this book! I felt like she was MY sister and felt everyone's pain! I think it's the perfect way for sexual abuse to be voiced!

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

I read Heart of Light so I knew a bare minimum about Marley going in but I never imagined I would feel what I feel for her & Cam.

After Marley & Cam's dad died when they were around 8 years old, their mom took comfort in drugs, alcohol & men. She took a liking to this one particular creep, Buck. He did unthinkable & horrific things to poor little Mar for 3 years! Three long years until Cam had enough & took justice into his own hands leaving Buck in a pool of bloody mess! Fast forward 6/7 years later, they are seniors in high school now. Mar has tried her best to be "normal" but the town is impossible.
I was so glad that TK Leigh touched on the sexual exploitation of pageants that some go to the extreme with. Marley really needed therapy! I can't believe the aunt & uncle were so selfish! I could've slapped them so many times with their self-righteous & indignant attitude! When Mar's past becomes her present, the bottom falls out for everyone! Heart broken is an understatement!

Marley is an AMAZING character! She's so strong! She didn't think so but she truly was to go through what she did! Cam is equally amazing & the perfect brother! The roof top scene & epilogue gutted me! I just can't even imagine!

I can't wait to read more of Cam!! This story & subject is still so fresh & I know it'll be with me forever & always! I'll forever remember this masterpiece!

Excerpt
I had gotten used to things over the years. Marley’s emotions always took you on a wild roller coaster ride, the ebb and flow often unexpected and sometimes tumultuous. But during those moments that things flattened out, and the ups and downs of her life were on an even keel, even if for just an instant, those were the times that I treasured. I wouldn’t trade those rare memories for anything in the world. Those were the times that I saw the real Marley…the girl that forced me to play Barbie’s with her, the girl that convinced me the mud pie she made for me was really chocolate. The way her eyes brimmed with enthusiasm and mischief at the same time, you couldn’t help but believe her, knowing that she would squeal with excitement and delight when you pretended to take a bite of her ‘chocolate’ pie. “Remember the tree house?” she asked, bringing me back from my own memories. I could hear the lump in her throat. “How could I forget? You hounded Dad for months to build you one.” “Remember going out there after he died, but before Mama lost the house?” I nodded, finding Marley’s hand and grabbing it. “Yeah, I do.” I felt her body tremble beside me as big, fat rain drops began to fall. “I think it would have been the best tree house on the block.” “The way Dad doted on you, it would have been a tree mansion by the time he was done with it.” Losing my father was hard enough when I was just eight, but having to be faced with the constant reminders of his life made it even more difficult. The worst was looking out our back window at a tree that he had begun to build a house in for Marley and me. The night that Mama had explained to us that Dad had gone to heaven and wouldn’t be coming back, I remember glancing out there and seeing Marley sitting on the lone wood plank that he had set up as the foundation of the tree house. Nearly every night that we lived in that house, we would go out there and simply lay down and look at the stars. “This reminds me of that,” I said softly. “Of those nights in the tree house.” The sound of thunder boomed around us and we remained on that roof, not caring that we were both drenched from the late summer downpour cloaking the town. “Me, too,” Marley said. “I think that’s why I like coming out here so much. It reminds me of ‘before’. It makes me feel closer to Dad. I always swore I could hear him talking to me in that tree house and, some nights when I’m out here, I can still hear him.” “What does he say?” She turned to face me and almost broke into tears. “That he’s proud of you. That he can’t believe how much of him he sees in you. That he’s happy you don’t let anyone or anything influence your decisions. That he’s thankful you’ve never abandoned me.

Excerpt #1

“What?” I growled, grabbing the back of the woman’s head when she started to pull away. Making my message clear; she wasn’t done just because I was on the phone, but to be sure, I said, “I didn’t say to fucking stop.”
“Seriously. At least stop fucking when you answer the phone.” Ryan’s disgusted voice floated over the line. I rolled my eyes even though she couldn’t see me.
“What, did you finally realize I was looking for you?” I rested my head against the back of the couch. The woman had no idea what the fuck she was doing with my cock. I would not be getting off unless she changed what she was doing. From the feel of it, it was possible she’d never sucked cock before. Trying to listen to Ryan but also get some pleasure out of the whore, I fisted my hand in her hair and attempted to show her a rhythm that felt better than what she was doing.
“Yes, I did. Sorry, Master. I didn’t realize I needed to report in immediately,” Ryan sarcastically replied. “I just got time to return your call. We’re pregnant and it’s twins. I hope they are both girls so they can drive their uncle even more crazy than he already is.”
It was easy to tell she was trying not to sound as happy and excited as she truly was. Always hiding behind her tough exterior. “Well, congrats on the brats. When am I going to meet this woman who is carrying the babes?”
“Never, if I have anything to say about it,” Ryan answered immediately.

Ten Fun Facts about Rachael Orman

1. I live in Arizona. I complain about the heat every summer, but don't think I could live anywhere else because I really hate the cold... and humidity.
2. I've been married for 9 years in October. I'll also be 29 in October. I got married on my 20th birthday smiley
3. I was a cancer survivor for 10 years in July.
4. I'm a former United States Marine.
5. I met my husband while in the hospital getting chemo. He was there for shattering his skull.
6. I have two little girls... I wish for a little boy, but no more babies for me.
7. I prefer Coke to Pepsi, but 7UP to Sprite. Dr. Pepper rules all... Unless McDonald's Coke is included.
8. I read as much as, if not more, than I write. I read almost any genre... except historical anything. But my husband is a huge history buff.
9. I hate feet. All of them. There is absolutely nothing sexy about feet to me, ever. Not even baby feet, but I have been known to tickle any foot I come near because my house is filled with incredibly ticklish feet.
10. I have a nine year old Chihuahua. She follows me around everywhere. She sleeps next to my computer or snuggled up to me at night in bed, but she is always called my husband's dog for some reason.

Playlist for Her Journey

Her Ride (Her #1)

Goodreads
Being happy. It sounds so simple. Yet, it seems that it’s always just out of reach for Shannon Ryan.

After serving overseas for seven years as a female United States Marine, Ryan is finally getting out the military. But coming home to live with her biker brother and his motorcycle club is more difficult than she thought it would be. Much has changed in the years that she has been gone, including Ellis, her brother’s best friend and childhood crush.

Ellis 'Dirty' Crane is the second in command for Tormented Souls Motorcycle Club. The only thing he lives for is the club, that is until Ryan comes home, no longer the wild little girl that followed him around. The two things standing in his way of getting what he wants are Patrick, Ryan's brother and leader of the club, and Jeremiah, Ryan’s boyfriend.

Can Ellis break through Ryan’s walls? Burn them and Jeremiah down? Prove to her brother that he’s the right man for her? Or is Ryan hiding more than she’s letting on?

The Waiting by Elizabeth Burgess & Maire Hewes-Spotlight, Giveaway & Review!

Blurb:

On the banks of the Pontchartrain…

Ambitious Dr. Andrew Douglas is always looking for ways to have more. More power. More money. More women. But when Slidell businessman, Dr. Bob O’Malley propositions him to bring River City Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, into a black market organ trade, he’s hesitant. How would they get away with it? What happens if they get caught? What happens if he says no?

Conservative and proper Arianne Douglas seems to have it all. A happy marriage, three handsome sons, a loving stepdaughter, and fulfilling career that gives back to others. But when her husband’s ex-wife discovers her deepest secret, how will Arianne prevent her two worlds from colliding—especially since her secret involves her husband’s best friend and her thirteen-year-old son?

Stoic and solemn Dr. Gregory Adams is an honorable man with a heart of gold. Proud of the legacy passed down through his father and grandfathers, he takes his job as Chief Medical Officer of River City Medical Center seriously. But after discovering that his best friend, Andrew is involved with something that is legally and ethically wrong, Gregory doesn’t know what to do. Further complicating his decision, are his long-standing feelings for Andrew’s wife—his one true love.

Brazen Dr. Millicent Douglas has been on a twenty-seven year mission: destroy Arianne Douglas. And thirteen years ago, she was joined by the most unlikely of allies—Arianne’s oldest son Nash. Effortlessly, she persuades her ex-husband to convince his best friend to rehire her at Rivers, allowing her closer to the black market organ trade known as the “Operation.” With Nash’s help, she infiltrates the accounts of Arianne’s charitable organization and manages to discover her nemesis’ long-hidden secret. But the stakes are raised when Millie realizes that the relationship between her and Nash is changing, and she’s powerless to stop it. Is she strong enough to say no? Or will his love break down her walls?

Ruthless Dr. Bob O’Malley has a score to settle with Andrew Douglas—for more reasons than one. The most recent offense—fifteen years ago when Andrew’s gross negligence left Bob’s youngest son in a vegetative state. Together with his eldest son, Sol, and a mysterious accomplice called the Congressman, Bob vows to exact his revenge any way possible. If that takes them down the road to death, then so be it.

5 Amazing Stars

This is Elizabeth & Marie's debut novel but you can never tell! It was awesome!

OOMMMGG!! Talk about a twisted web they weave! If you want twists, passion, suspense, drama, love, hate, angst, soap operas, then you HAVE to read it!!

It was like a real life soap opera! This one married to this one but sleeping with that one but in love with another one!! Twists & turns at every page! I was expecting more from the "Operation" but I think more of that will come later! This book was more about the twisted web of relationships! The characters were really strong which I like!

You WONT be disappointed! If you get confused with all the stories & characters, there's a guide at the end you can flip to to keep the characters straight! That's my only complaint is there are so many stories & characters that it's a bit confusing at times!! Amazing job! I can't wait for the next one!

About the authors:
For Elizabeth Burgess, writing is not only what she loves to do, it is freedom, salvation, and escape. It is life. Introduced to the art of words at a young age by an English teacher, she poured herself into a self-study of all things poetry and prose throughout the entirety of her high school and college career—hoping to one day become a lyricist in Nashville. As the years went on, her dreams changed and morphed, but her love for words did not. When Elizabeth and her best friend, Marie, began trying to conceive in February 2013, they needed an easy way to pass the “two week wait.” Remembering a dream that she'd had in August 2012, Elizabeth suggested that they start writing a book and "The Waiting" was born.

Elizabeth lives in Northeast Louisiana with her partner Terri, two Catahoula Curs, Bowie and Pike, and cat, Cypress. She enjoys Saturday nights in Death Valley, rainy days, and taking pictures of her beloved Louisiana.

5 Amazing Intense Stars
AMAZING BOOK!! This book deserves more than 5 stars! This is the 1st book I've read of TK Leigh & won't be the last! This is a story of the awful realization of human trafficking & forced prostitution and the mental, physical & emotional struggles of life before & after such a life! The struggles of learning to trust & love after so much abuse!

Jolene was born with a price tag over her head! Not knowing how & why she ended up in the hands of a monster, she finally escapes! She tries to start all over miles & miles away! She meets Cam who teaches her that it's ok to trust him & love! That everyone needs a light & they are each that to the other! I was captivated from beginning to end! By the end, my heart was racing! I couldn't breathe when the monsters found her again! My heart dropped with her page & gun fire! Can she truly escape her past & help others also? Will she find out the true about her parents & her past?

Really great book! I had no idea this stuff goes on in the US! Such a horrible subject but it's a subject that needed to be told! I can't wait for more from TK Leigh!

Excerpt
“Why don’t you like being touched?” he asked quietly in a bold move. Jolene stopped dead in her tracks, glaring at him. “I just don’t, alright?” she hissed, her voice raised. “And it’s none of your fucking business why I act the way I do. I see what you’re trying to do, Doctor.” She spun around and stormed back toward the house, wanting to get far away from his prying, yet consoling, eyes. “What, Jolene? What am I doing? I just want to get to know you. I want to spend time with you, and I need to know why certain things set you off so that I don’t do them!” He ran along the shore, catching up to her, stopping short when he almost reached out and grabbed her arm to force her to talk to him. Feeling him approach behind her, she reeled around. The expression on her face was fierce. “You’ve been a therapist for far too long. You need to get it out of your head that you can help me.” The ocean wind whipped her hair in front of her face and her voice rose in anger. “You can’t! No one can! So just stop! Stop taking an interest in me! Stop with the whole nice guy act because, based on my experience, that’s all it is!” she cried through her tears, her voice becoming barely audible. “A fucking act.” She closed her eyes and inhaled deeply before opening them, the pain of what she had experienced the past decade of her life visible in the look of unease on her face. She took a step closer, her eyes remaining glued to Cam’s. “You show up on my doorstep acting like my savior when the world has gone to shit. You tell me how you’ll look after me and protect me. And you know what those are?” She could see the hurt that her words were causing him, but she didn’t care. “Lies, Cam,” she said quietly. “Just lies. You say you’ll help me and watch over me, but you’ll turn. I can’t… I can’t go through that again. Please. I beg you. Just stay away from me.” She spun around and began walking briskly away from him. “You don’t have to do this, Jolene!” he shouted, running to catch up with her. “You don’t have to choose fear.” “Yes, I do,” she insisted, turning to face him once more. “It’s the only way that he won’t…” “You can choose me instead,” he interrupted. Her breath caught at his unexpected reply. “Cam, I…” She trailed off, hiding her tear-filled eyes. “Don’t let your fear control you, Jolene,” he implored, his voice soft. He brought his body close to hers. “Please, choose me, not fear.”
About the Author
T.K. Leigh
T.K. Leigh, otherwise known as Tracy Leigh Kellam, is the USA Today Best Selling author of the Beautiful Mess series. Originally from New England, she now resides in sunny Southern California with her husband, dog and three cats, all of which she has rescued (including the husband). She always had a knack for writing, but mostly in the legal field. It wasn’t until recently that she decided to try her hand at creative writing and is now addicted to creating different characters and new and unique story lines in the Contemporary Romantic Suspense genre. When she’s not planted in front of her computer, writing away, she can be found running and training for her next marathon (of which she has run over fifteen fulls and far too many halfs to recall). Unlike Olivia, the main character in her Beautiful Mess series, she has yet to qualify for the Boston Marathon.

Synopsis
The Perfect Boyfriend picks up right where we left Reagan and Ian in The Boyfriend List. But their newfound bliss doesn’t come without a few unexpected challenges. In the midst of realizing just how sweet the romance can be between them, and all the benefits of their new dynamic, Reagan is informed that her ideal situation has changed. Not only will she need to begin taking on more classes to speed up her graduation date, but she’ll also have to start looking for a job to supplement her fading income. Meanwhile, Ian has chosen to pull out of school once his father is diagnosed with a terminal illness in order to help manage the family business and spend time with him while he still can. But he wrestles with the guilt of leaving Reagan behind, and the pressure of his new responsibilities. As the two meet their new challenges head-on, they’ll be forced to discover whether or not they’re as compatible as lovers as they were as friends. With their focus pulled in so many directions, will they have what it takes to keep a long distance relationship alive? Can Ian prove that he’s still be the perfect boyfriend, or will they fold to statistics under the growing tensions of their lives? Throw in some manipulative exes, a new boss with an inflated ego, and a co-worker from hell and the two have a recipe for either a fairy tale ending, or a complete disaster. The Perfect Boyfriend is a New Adult Romance about trust, love, and discovering the true depths of personal strength.

Excerpt
Reagan’s time with Ian was never long enough. Not really. Not when she was still used to having him in her life every day – man she’d really taken that for granted, hadn’t she? But her moments with him now were sweeter, more complete. And the remainder of the weekend had passed without any other dramatic events. It would hold her over until the next time they could steal some time together. At least, she hoped it would. But now it was over. And she was back to her regular schedule. Except this week was a little different. This week she’d throw her new internship into the mix and learn just how good of a juggler she could be – her class schedule, new assignments, friendships, her relationship, the internship and anything else that the universe cared to throw at her. It was no joke, that was for sure, and Reagan was beginning to feel all of the pressures that the outside world held for her once she graduated. But she could manage it, she remind herself as she changed clothes for her new role. She didn’t have any other choice but to make it all work somehow. After having picked up a few new outfits to compliment her new important role – using some of the money she’d kept from the club, of course - Petra had helped her coordinate the rest of her wardrobe to expand her options. And the result was at least a couple weeks worth of choices that had left her feeling confident, appropriate, and ready to impress. Every little detail counted, and her poise when she stepped through the large glass doors that first day spoke volumes toward her ambitions. Reagan had set herself up to succeed in every possible way. Having no real instruction with which to work from on how to approach her first day, she strode up to the receptionist, who this time greeted her with a friendly smile. Success already, she thought to herself, and her smile widened that much more. “Welcome back Reagan.” The woman began. “You’re all going to be starting in the conference room today. Around that corner and through the second door.” “All?” Reagan had known she wasn’t the only intern, but the phrase made it seem like there was an army in attendance, and the thought sent a little shiver of nerves up her spine. “There’s three of you. You have a quick orientation together, then it’s all smooth sailing from there.” Reagan nodded as she contemplated this answer. Nothing was ever exactly smooth sailing when you threw a bunch of competitive girls together and told them to battle it out to impress the new boss. But one could always hope for the best... The heels she’d chosen tapped lightly as she clipped down the slick hall and toward the door marked, Conference, #2. She noticed her hand trembling as she lifted it to turn the handle. Taking a deep breath, she tried to let go of all her anxious energy – just be yourself, she lectured – then she forced a huge smile over her face. But when she stepped through the door, her face immediately fell. All the calm composure she’d just summoned drained from her body and left her face as white as the stark walls. The shaking returned, only it wasn’t from nerves now. Her body was riddled with anger, contempt and yes, even a little humor as she considered the universe’s latest irony. Because the first person to turn around when she stepped into the room was Isabella. The Isabella. The Isabella who had stolen her boyfriend. Who had tried to seduce Ian. And had otherwise made her existence miserable. The Isabella who had ruined spring break, nearly ruined Petra’s party, and had caused Reagan to question almost everything she knew about people. That Isabella was nearly three feet away from her, dressed in a fitted color-block dress she’d probably picked up at Bebe just to show off her flawless figure. Apparently, whatever dislike Reagan had for her was a mutual feeling, since she was smirking in recognition as she gave Reagan a long, lingering, stare meant to intimidate and demean without saying a single word. “You’ve got to be kidding me.” The words slipped from Reagan’s lips before she could stop them, and she found herself regretting the thought the moment she’d heard it.

20 Fun Facts About Renee’ Novelle
      1.      I have a complete and total obsession with lip gloss. I must have it on at all times and I swear I have hundreds of tubes sitting in my makeup drawers.
2.      Originally, I was a performing arts major in college and received a scholarship from the dance department to attend. It was, without a doubt, the most amazing experience ever.
3.      But, when I started college, I was only 15 so my perspective on the whole thing was very different. (And yes, there are future books being built around that experience!)
4.      That passion for the arts has stuck with me though, because I attend every play, musical, gallery opening, ballet, etc. that I can get tickets to. Next to lip gloss, it’s my second obsession.
5.      I absolutely live for dresses and will find an excuse to wear them every day if possible.
6.      I’m a huge foodie, and always seek out new restaurants and dining experiences to try. But I do most of my cooking at home. I love experimenting with new recipes, it’s kind of therapeutic!
7.      I love a fancy night out, but pizza and a good bottle of wine is a hands down winner in my house.
8.      Getting to watch the sunset on the beach is my favorite thing about living in Southwest Florida. Such a relaxing experience.
9.      I love a fancy glass – I even drink water and juice out of wine glasses and goblets. There’s just something about transforming an ordinary experience into something more extraordinary that makes life beautiful. And the more unique the glass, the better the experience.
10.  I absolutely love having music on all the time – at the gym, in the shower, in the car, while I cook... Except for when I’m writing. When I’m writing I need absolute dead silence.
11.  I don’t have any children – yet – but I have two cats that might as well be my kids! They’re my babies, I’m absolutely crazy about them.
12.  And they’ve totally taken over the house. Including my office, which they seem to think is their personal play room.
13.  I totally believe in love at first sight. My current 6 year relationship started as a “love at first sight” thing.
14.  I’m kind of addicted to Bravo reality shows – it’s definitely my guilty pleasure after a long day of work and writing.
15.  The way to my heart is through a handwritten love letter – I love the nostalgia of the whole process.
16.  I’m kind of addicted to quotes. I post them all the time. It’s a little out of control. I even have some hanging up in my office to keep me motivated.
17.  If I had an English garden, I don’t think I’d ever leave it.
18.  No beach excursion is complete without a really good pina colada.
19.  I think a summer evening filled with fireflies is absolutely magical!
20.  I’m really obsessive about lists...unless I’m compiling one about myself! Then I have a super hard time thinking of anything. :P
