Synopsis

Mia Lee escaped to the sleepy little town of

This book started right where the first one left off. I enjoyed most of the book but about half way through I felt like it was maybe a little over kill.
Mia and Quinn are running from danger and the police the whole book. I think more of the story could have been covered other than just on the run. I love the chemistry between Mia and Quinn but think the two of them should have "sealed the deal" by now. I do love the strength Mia has throughout the road trip. She's trying to chase Quinn away to keep him from being involved in her mess of a life. Quinn refuses to leave her side and promises to protect her matter what. You do learn more background information on both characters which helps clarify their need to not let go of their defenses.
Overall, good story but I was looking for more. I def will read more from the author.
