Awesome book! This is the 1st book I've read of MJ Nightingale & it won't be the last! I can't wait to read more of this series! I seriously could NOT put it down!
We have Ronnie & Nikko who knew each other previously! When their little almost hook up happened, they both left the scene & never laid eyes on the other until a year later. Call it fate, but after Ronnie finds herself arrested & in jail, Nikko comes to her rescue in the form of her bail bondsman! Nikko & Ronnie go on a run to free her & prove her innocence! Prove that her douche pants boyfriend framed her for smuggling drugs!
I love Ronnie! She's feisty, pretty & smart! She puts together & good plan to try to prove her innocence but will Nikko & his brothers screw it up? Nikko & his brothers are on a mission to also find out the truth but more so just to protect Ronnie until her court date! When Ronnie takes things into her own hands, Nikko has no choice but to follow her! As far as Gary, her douche pants "boyfriend", well I could've throat punched him!
I really loved this book! The characters were so well developed! I laughed, sighed, held my breath from nervousness, swooned over Nikko & his brothers & even had tears in my eyes!! I would recommend this book to everyone!! Great job!

Ronnie knew she was drunk because this was just feeling so good. She needed to stop him. But somehow she couldn’t. He smelled so damn good. The cologne, the sea breeze, the wind, and his tongue trailing down her neck had her senses spiraling. That and the three glasses of champagne she had consumed. His lips and teeth nuzzled her neck, little nips that felt like tiny explosions. His hand slid up her rib cage. She felt the timeless exploration under her breast as he tested its weight. He gently squeezed, and then flicked her nipple beneath the thin material of the bridesmaid gown she wore. He pulled the cup down and a cool blast of night air hit her before his mouth descended on the tiny bud. His mouth was hot. Oh yes! His tongue divine as it titillated her even further. About the Author
MJ Nightingale has spent over two decades teaching students how to write, and now she is doing it herself. Originally from Canada, she graduated from University with her Bachelor of Arts and then went on to get her Bachelor of Education Degree in Secondary Education.
Reading has been a part of her life since she was a child. She has been an avid lover of classical English and American literature, but romance has always held a special place in her heart. She devours historical romance novels all summer long, and any type of fiction; thrillers, crime, suspense, and drama. This is her second published book, and she has one more book, Afraid to Hope, coming out in in the summer of 2014. All three, Fire In His Eyes, Afraid to Love and Afraid to Hope, are erotic romance standalone novels and are part of her Secrets & Seduction Series.
She is also working on a new series The Bounty Hunters for 2015.
She currently lives in Florida, where she continues to teach, with her wonderful husband of nine years, and her sons. She plans on pursuing her writing career full time very soon.
